TICE is a Berlin based start-up, founded end of 2019, with focus on privacy and cryptography combined with user-friendly software. With many years of experience in the development of mobile apps, websites and desktop software aswell as server infrastructure and backend services, we develop software from simple apps to multi-platform experiences for you and your customers.

We are convinced that digital sustainability is an important part of our work. Therefore, we have decided to communicate our values and goals in this area transparently and align our work accordingly.

Data Sustainability

Our understanding of digital sustainability includes data minimization, data protection, and IT security with long-lasting software - and we implement this in our products.

Through encryption and thoughtful protocols, we ensure that as little user data as possible is collected by us. Advertising and ad tracking are therefore out of the question for us.

Socio-Ecological Transformation

We only have one Earth, and science shows us ecological limits, beyond which human life here is no longer possible.

For this reason, we see the necessity of a socio-ecological transformation of society and support the development towards more sustainability.

From this, we derive corresponding actions for us and our daily business.

Non-Profit Organizations and Foundations

Non-profit organizations and foundations are, in our understanding, a cornerstone of a common good-oriented, sustainable society. When implementing (digital) projects, they often have special requirements.

With experience from several successful collaborations, we are happy to offer our support and are open to trying out new future-oriented ideas.

Donating Profit

Unfortunately, a just society has not yet been achieved. We want to support meaningful projects and make a small contribution to more justice. Therefore, we donate a fixed portion of our profits to non-profit organizations whose mission of sustainability we wish to support.

As a young company, we are early in establishing a mechanism to take on social responsibility.
